Diversify your talent pipeline and welcome fresh perspectives into your business by hosting one of AUT’s outstanding graduates.

How it works

  • Create internship

You create a position description, letting us know who you’re looking for and what they’ll get out of interning in your organization.

  • Agreement

We agree on funding, then the internship is advertised to AUT students as part of our international program.

  • Shortlist and interview

We provide a shortlist, then support you to set up remote interviews with your preferred candidates. You decide if you'd like to offer anyone an internship.

  • Invite an AUT intern

Found someone you like? Invite them to intern at your company. We can handle the admin, US visa, insurances and flights.

  • Welcome your AUT intern

We keep your admin to a minimum …All you need to do is prepare for their first day!

WHAT EMPLOYERS SAY

"We've been involved with the program for a while, we've been involved with AUT for a while. And the reason for that is that we love your entrepreneurial spirit. You are a place of learning that is full of creativity, full of cultural diversity, full of ambition. You're fast. You send us optimists, people with generosity of spirit and we love having them around."

Kevin Roberts, Worldwide CEO, SAATCHI & SAATCHI

"We see this program as a real example of AUT's innovative thinking. To be able to choose AUT interns to come to New York is a fantastic way of helping to build young leaders' understanding of different environments and of cultures."

David McLean, CEO, WESTPAC NEW ZEALAND (previously Managing Director of Westpac Group in New York)

"It's always good to welcome onboard young, passionate and qualified people from overseas; especially people from top quality institutions such as AUT. We find they always fit in well, are self starters and with some guidance are able to lead a project that leaves a legacy after they return home."

Mark Griffin, Founder & CEO, PLAY RUGBY USA

"The opportunity for a New Zealander with relevant degree qualifications to come to the city that is, I think, the financial capital of the world, the center for all things in finance, really the driver for the world finance economy is really an extraordinary experience and I hope one that will be life-changing for the interns that are selected."

Joff Mitchell, Senior Managing Director, ZOLFO COOPER
