INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

The Broadmoor is seeking an international Hospitality Management specialist from AUT to join their Front Office team. The successful intern will work alongside the Operations Division; Rooms and Facilities departments to deliver a fantastic first impression of the property.

The BROADMOOR is a Five-Star Resort in Colorado Springs characterised by impeccable service and distinctive amenities. It is the longest-running consecutive winner of both the AAA Five-Diamond and Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star awards. Since first opening in 1918, it has offered guests a unique way to experience the beauty of the American West, through day spa, restaurants (including the only Five-Star, Five-Diamond restaurant in Colorado, Penrose Room), 54 holes of championship golf, six tennis courts, indoor/outdoor pools, distinctive retail shops, 185,000 square feet of meeting space, specialty tours, activities and programs for guests of all ages and interests.

WORK WILL INCLUDE:

• Ensuring total guest satisfaction through prompt and efficient service in a courteous and professional manner.
• Greeting and providing guests with hotel information.
• Ensuring prompt and efficient check in and check out service of guests
• Coordinating front of the hotel operations working closely with Guest Services, Concierge, Reservations staff and other Departments to ensure excellent service.
• Using selling strategies to upgrade current reservations.

SUITED TO CANDIDATES GRADUATING WITH:

• Bachelor of International Hospitality Management majoring in Accommodation, Event Management, Human Resource Management,  Marketing or Tourism.
• Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Event Management

PREFERRED DATES:

1 year, starting February 2018.
